
Anthony David Gonzalez, born on 27 February 1976, is an American football tightener who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons. Gonzalez is regarded as one of the top tight ends of all time, and currently is the most effective NFL tight end when it comes to receiving yards and receptions for tight ends. Gonzalez is also ranked third in the number of receptions he has. Gonzalez was selected in the 1st round of the Kansas City Chiefs. He played his first 12 seasons playing for the team. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons for five of the final seasons. Gonzalez was retired in 2013 and was an analyst for football at NFL on Prime Video. He previously worked for CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six first-team All-Pro honors. Gonzalez is well-known for his stamina and uncommon Fumbles. He played in 272 games during the regular season and only lost two fumbles in 1,327 plays. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame In the year the year 2019.
